FAQs on Sahaja Yoga - Episode 10 - How to get the support of in-laws not practicing Sahaja Yoga?

How to get the support of relatives/in-laws who do not practice Sahaja Yoga? It is noticed that some Sahaja Yogis come across different types of obstacles/ hindrances or problems when they are trying to establish themselves in Sahaja Yoga by practicing meditation as taught in Sahaja Yoga. Sometimes the family members do not agree to let their sons/ daughters to practice this new meditation way or maybe post-marriage, the in-laws do not let the bride (esp.) practice Sahaja Yoga. They may be pious and religious but are unable to accept Sahaja Yoga.

Under such difficult circumstances, one should avoid arguments or confrontations but show them some websites or make them meet practicing Sahaja Yogis who can make them understand all about the science of spirituality as taught in Sahaja Yoga. There is a Toll-free number too that may help.

Also it is a request from parents practicing Sahaja Yoga to give a proper courtship time to both your sons and daughters when it comes to arranging their marriages esp. in a non-sahaja family. It is very difficult to adjust to lower vibrations especially when one has tasted the highest of high divine vibrations in Sahaja Yoga. Just like it becomes very difficult for a lady (daughter) to adjust to a – let’s say – a financially lesser endowed in-laws/ or miserly family – similarly, it is immensely difficult for a Sahaja Yogi to go back to ancient or archaic ways to worshipping or connecting to God!
